Slating/Tiling

Slate roofing has to be one of the oldest, but still used, roofing methods to keep a roof watertight.

Don't be fooled into it being the only roofing method though. Concrete roof tiles are now a very common roofing method and come with great advantages. One major advantage tiling has over slating is the ability to have different colours to suit your home’s personal style.

Our EPDM rubber roof installation has some excellent long term qualities. Unaffected by the cold or the heat, it can shrink and expand with whatever weather we have outside. Almost every time it can be laid in one piece, with no joints or welds to weaken its life span. It is also applied cold with no welded seams or naked flames used.

These 2 dry system applications are an excellent choice for both style and longevity. Both systems are right up to date and require no wet bed or mortar work as they are mechanically fixed in position with their own internal watergates to avoid leaks and dampness.

Chimney Work And Rough Casting

Chimneys alone can be a real pain for any roof if they haven't been maintained well enough. Most chimneys will fail at the lead watergate or its masonry rough casting. Both of which provide the main seal for water tightness around the chimney. Chimney cracking and loose chimney pots can't always be seen from the ground. A good chimney inspection can amend any future damage long before it happens.
