Having delayed for almost 2 years our proposed extensive roof and cladding works due to illness we at long last managed to proceed and have this work done. We researched the marketplace thoroughly and carefully and after extensive deliberation we elected to proceed and employ James McCole and his team. It was an onerous task and included complete replacement of fascias & soffits (roofline), new guttering & downpipes, dry verge, and the roof ridge tiles also got an extensive overhaul & repointing.

The work was undertaken very professionally and efficiently and by a team that obviously knew what they were doing. Cleaning up too was impeccable and all rubbish and old timbers removed from site and properly disposed of. We were impressed by the diligent manner displayed by the team throughout and are simply delighted with the end result and the complete fresh appearance of our house. An excellent job and very well done.

Just engaged James to carry out repairs to dry ridge system on our roof. (He had previously met with me to determine the materials required and the price for the job).

We recently had James complete a number of roof repairs on our aged property. James took time to explain in detail the specific job that was required and took great care to consider our requirements.

One morning over the festive period I discovered a water damaged upstairs ceiling. Totally shocked I tried to call someone I knew to come and have a look at my roof and accidentally called James McCole, who to my total surprise said he was a roofer but not the person I thought I was trying to calling. James very kindly came and looked at the roof as he was in the area and due to the weather had been called off from another job so was able to repair my roof. 

I won't deny I was very sceptical even though it was me who contacted him (my mistake) as I didn't know him or if he was a reputable roofer. With regards to the cost I didn't get quotes I was just so pleased to have the leaking roof repaired so quickly but all in all his price was fair and reasonable. 

Delighted to say that later that same afternoon the the work had been completed by James and two of his colleagues who had installed a new dry ridge system, removed and de-mossed the top row of ridge tiles, replaced 2 tiles and inserted 2 tile vents. On completion they removed all the rubbish and left things clean and tidy. I certainly was one happy customer.

After being so worried about using James I now would have no hesitation in recommending James McCole, roofer to anyone and also to carry out any further work I may have in the future.
